Cigar Review by Ross: Plasencia Alma Fuerte Robustus has a lot of pressure. It has a beautiful triangular cap and medium veining throughout. The wrapper is naturally dark, the maduro is colored with that oily sheen that I love, and it has a rough but nice texture. The scent is spicy and floral on the wrapper, so it gives off a lot of strong earthy notes.
The beginning is lovely and starts with some interesting anise notes. It has some slight cocoa, some roasted black pepper and fruit.
As for the middle: it is floral with bursts of coffee, and continues with the quality of anise and fruit.
FINISH: The bold flavor and distinct, full-bodied smoke now stand out with a flow to give you a unique session with the most delicious cigar.
